Editorial methodology

How we review creator software

Our goal is to make software decisions easier, not to publish the most reviews.

We start with the job to be done

We identify the workflow the buyer is trying to run.

We separate source types

Official product documentation and pricing are treated as product facts. Direct testing is labeled as direct testing. Editorial interpretation is presented as analysis rather than first-hand experience.

We compare alternatives

Most buyers need to know which tool fits them better, not whether a product is simply “good.”

We disclose affiliate relationships

Affiliate compensation may fund the publication, but it does not guarantee coverage, placement, ranking, or a positive conclusion. When a page contains an affiliate relationship, we disclose it.

We verify material details

Software pricing, features, and terms change frequently. We use official vendor sources where practical and encourage readers to verify current terms before purchasing.
